After upgrading to 8.10 upon login I got a black screen. I followed advice and deactivated compiz desk effects, within the kwinrc file. Now I can't get compiz to work without getting the black screen after sign in. Is there anything I can do to get copmpiz AND kde4 to work. as it did in 8.04. Thanx for any help
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
