Fprint or Thinkfinger

Has anyone gotten Fprint working with Intrepid? I don't see Thinkfinger in the repos (which is what I was using with Ubuntu Hardy). I tried installing and configuring fprint-demo and ended up with an unusable machine and had to drop into command line to uninstall fprint.

I don't own a Thinkpad and I'm looking for info specific to Kubuntu Intrepid. Thanks for the resource though. Will be useful if I own a Thinkpad in the future.
