With the Hardy 3.5.10 version of the 4.1.x desktop, many things are not as well developed as they are in the Intrepid 4.1x desktop, and i find it quite restricting.
I realise that this is probably a vain hope, but would it be possible (from the safety of Hardy 3.5.10) to remove and purge the 4.1.x desktop and core, then add the Intrepid repository, then re-install them?
