a problem when start Xserver

Hi. Just upgraded my 8.04 up to 8.10.
And now i can't log in 'cause keyboard and mouse ain't work!
Welcome screen is working, but i can't enter any password or move a mouse to focus a password edit box.
In 8.04 everything worked fine...

What 2 do?

Install the mentioned packages and reboot. Apparently some missing package dependency ...
