Has anybody tried this? I'm thinking of putting II Alpha5 AMD64 on my Desktop. My current configuration is a Root partition and a Home partition. Would I be able to just install over the old Root? I think that is possible from what I've followed over the years, but never have done that. I guess what I'm really asking is how, at the GRUB portion, do I tell it to use the Home partition without reformatting, use as is, don't erase what is already on there. Also, if I keep my user name and password the same, will it pick up that profile on Home? Thanks!
