I installed kubuntu tonight and when it ran the first time, it said my driver for my broadcom wireless adapter wasn't supported by buntu. it gave me the option to activate it but when I tried to activate it, the screen disappeared and now I can't find it again. can anyone please tell me how to get the screen back up so I can try to activate the driver again? I have no internet access in ubuntu and it's frustrating, especially when it's something I've done wrong. thanks

Re: help me out here guys
I think I can help you get to the driver. Click on K->Computer->System Settings. That will open a Window and youcan select Add remove Software. Click on Settings and Edit Software sources. In the far left tab, Kubuntu Software, check the first 4 choices. This will allow you to get software that is not freeware. Click close and then select Software updates. It should download a new list of available software.
I think you will now have access to the module you want but I know almost nothing about it. I think it is called b43 and there is a b43-fwcutter tool you might need. I hope this helps.
