    pci-e wifi cards support

    Hello,

After spending many hours trying to sort the other laptop wifi I want to just change the card, does anyone know of a pci-e wifi card that is working on your machine?

I only managed to get the Atheros card working in suse 11.1 out the box, kubuntu doesn't want to play even with ndiswrapper and madmax, even the hardware is not activated. If there is a way to bring the function from suse please let me know otherwise just let me know which card worked out the box for you.

    Thank you

    Richard

I use two pcmcia cards that both work, one by Ubiquity and the other a D-Link DWL-G650.
As far as I know they're also available as Express cards.

More generally, a google search for 'linux compatible pci-e wifi card' gives lots of solid hits.
