I have access to a GPRS modem used with one of the mobile phone networks in this country.
It is a HUAWEI GPRS modem with is detected but not recognised by gcom.
Searching Adept shows xfce4-cellmodem-plugin which draws in several other programs and libraries.
Does anyone use xfce4-cellmodem-plugin?
The modem itself it about the size of a USB memory flashdisk and plugs in to a USB port.
On windows it identifies itself as a CD-ROM and a memory device and opens a program.
It doesn't work under wine.
Any ideas welcome.
