kubuntu on a Dell Precision M2400

Hi,

I'm a user of kubuntu 8.04 on a Dell Latitude D505.

I'm switching to a Dell Precision M2400.

I have not found posts about it and I wonder if some of you already installed kubuntu (8.04 or 8.10 I have not decided yet) on this machine and would like to share the experience.

Are you considering purchasing the M2400, or do you already have it? If the latter, just download the LiveCD and give it a go.

I plan to order it in few days.

It seems that in some countries this specific model, not in Italy, is already sold with a Linux distribution on it (but the Dell-lady at the phone did not know which one).
