Hey all,
I'm using Kubuntu 8.10 on a Toshiba M200 Tablet PC. It's a dual boot with WinXP. The thing is: In WinXP I get about 1 hour of battery life, whereas in Kubuntu the battery's empty within 10 to 15 minutes.
Let me give you some details: I charge the battery, then at about 75% battery level it tells me the battery's empty. I don't even have time to connect a power source, since the computer almost immediately hibernates (with failures, though) and can't be rebooted to the same state. I find this very annoying. Do you have any idea what's wrong here?
Any help would be much appreciated...Cliowa
EDIT: Maybe this is a software problem? I don't know.
