Kubuntu 8.10 on laptop - cannot find/access other logical drives - dual booting

Here it goes, I installed Kubuntu a coupla days ago, and after the usual newbies problems, everything seems to be working fine.

Except for this: As I am dual booting with Windows XP and I don't want to waste any space on my rather puny hard-drive, I decided to create 2 other Fat32 logical drives, one for my music, and the other for shared documents, with gparted. The partitions are fine, and I can access them from XP.

The first time I booted in Kubuntu, I saw it and they were there, fine and ready to use: Victory!

So, I go back to XP to transfer the requested files, reboot with Kubuntu and... gone. The 2 logical drives are nowhere to be found by my inexperienced eyes. I go back to XP to see if they are still there and yep, they are.

I know it must be somewhere I'm overlooking, or a tiny box to check that I left unchecked, anyway, I now humbly request your help.

Any ideas?

What file system did you use for the logical drives?

To have the FAT32 partitions automatically booted by Kubuntu, you'll need to edit (as root) the file /etc/fstab and add mount lines for them.
