keyboard configuration

hi there.

Iḿ a total nebie to ubuntu (kubuntu). bieng an ex opensuse user im having some trouble grasping the configuration system for kubuntu.

My question is: with what program can i configure the keytboard))i currently have a dutch keyboard configured while it should be US.

Keyboard layouts should be available in:
System Settings>Regional & Language>Keyboard Layout

There you can select 'active' layouts from available layouts and configure how to switch between them (of course you can set only one active layout if you wish)
