Hi everyone:
I've got a Dell Vostro 1000. {Laptop}
And installed 8.10 32bit Intrepid on it.
I had been using a Self Powered 7 port Usb Hub on it.
Works fine in Windoze, But once I installed 8.10 in a Dual Boot config.
It may or may not even reconize that the Flash Drives are even there, Had my Keyboard and Optical Mouse both Usb hooked to it as well.
They would Usually be working during bootup and once booted, But for how long is anyones guess.
For 5 minutes or 5 hours.
All of a sudden they just quit working, Causing me to restart sometimes more then once just to get them working...
Yes my Touch Pad on the Laptop as well as the Keyboard always worked.
I even unplugged the Hub from the Outlet but this didn't help either.
So I got a Regular Hub that is Powered by the Laptop itself and it doesn't seem to be giving me any problems "YET" Circuits Crossed....
Unless I try a Hot Plug either putting something on, Or taking something off.
Any Ideas?
I'd "LOVE" to be able to just use my Self Powered Hub again, Right now I'm only using it to run the Cooling Pad...
This Hub is unplugged from the Laptop all together
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. 8)
