Dell Inspiron 6000 Display Flicker

I upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04 and now the display flickers. It's like it doesn't refresh the screen correctly. The graphics is a Mobil Intel 915GM/GMS, 910ML Express chipset family. I have 2G of RAM on the laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated or I'll need return to 8.04 which I'll have to start from scratch I assume.
