Flexcam 100 working on 8.04 and not working on 8.10

I have a flexcam 100 plugged on my vostro 1000 (dell).

When i was using kubuntu 8.04 the webcam worked pretty fine on amsn, kopete, camorama...
But, now i am using kubuntu 8.10 and it s not working anymore on those programs.

Then, i installed easycam and it detected and installed the right driver and my webcam start to work on Cheese but not on kopete, amsn or camorama.
The point is: those three programs when started, show an image captured by the webcam (on that right moment) but return an error just after that (camorama returns "Unable to Capture Image").

Last information that can be usefull: the system recognizes my webcam when i plug it (lights on).

Any sugestion?
