    No.

So you are happy? You can access/write to the the drive? If yes to both, please return to your first post in this thread, click the modify button and add SOLVED to the subject.

      Re: HELP!!!!!

One more issue going on here.

Because the sdb and sda keep swapping on reboot, the drive link I have in the home folder keeps switching the access back and forth. in other words, if you want to access the drive through the home folder on the toolbar, you physically have to change the mount in the properties every time. Any way to fix this, aside from removing the icon altogether and forcing someone to go through Dolphin instead?

        Re: HELP!!!!!

I think a research project into "window decorators" would reveal that there are kwin themes that include larger scroll bars and min/max buttons, but I'm no expert on it. I use Emerald on Compiz, and I'm happy with the basic red theme, so I don't even fool around with the 10,000 choices for Emerald decorations, either.

Yes, but there are some (serious ?) limitations in II 8.10. You can shop around for different themes. But as to actually controlling/changing the size of buttons and affecting scroll bars, you aren't getting that.

            Re: [SOLVED!] Mounting Hard drives!!!!!

I wondered about that, which seemed kind of odd. I like the theme I have, but the display issues I have forced me into a 1600x1200 resolution, which makes all the buttons and scroll bars very tiny. would prefer 1280x1024, but my display compresses the scroll bar to about 2/3 of the normal width when I try that mode. Kubuntu seems to grab the max resolution from the monitor in the splash screen, and then drops back to a user preference on the desktop. This is messing up my desktop, but it's stable as it is now, so I'm leaving it alone. I have to turn the machine on in a specific order as well. Monitor first, then computer, otherwise everything gets all screwed up again.
