So this has been happening for a while now... and whilst it's fairly innocuous, it's getting on my nerves enough for me to finally get around to doing something about it...
It started on upgrade to KDE 4 and has remained the same over several upgrades, now to 8.10. I assumed that it would get ironed out as a bug but it hasn't.
The screensaver will kick in as required, after a set time but approximately 80% of the time, it only appears 1/4 size, in the upper left corner of the screen. Dont' know why. The remaining 3/4 of the screen remains white, with no shapes drawn or text.
The screensaver disappears on mouse movement or keyboard presses, as it should - and so it more or less does its job, just that it sometimes works as it should do, and most of the time it doesn't...
I'm confused (being a bear of little brains) and so if anyone has seen this and knows how to fix it, I'd be grateful of some pointers.
Thannks.
Bag.
