1440 x 900 monitor reverting to 60Hz

after updating to Intrepid i lost my monitor settings. After some research i edited my xorg.conf (see attachement).

The display dimensions are correct now however they are somehow autmatically set to a 60hz refresh rate. I have to go to display settings, change to another display dimention and then back to 1440x900 in order to get 75hz.

How can i fix this?

In the "Screen" stanza, you might try changing the depth to 16, instead of 24. Save it and restart X.

If it works, then you'll have to decide whether the 16-color depth is worth the better refresh rate.
