Hi guys,
yesterday I tried to install Kubuntu 8.10 on my computer. The problem is that my raid controller may not be supported. When I'm supposed to choose the hard disk for installation I can choose between the 4 disks but not the raid array itself (RAID 10, 4 disks, 500gb each). I know how to integrate additional drivers to a Windows-CD but I have no idea if thats possible with kubuntu.
Do you have any advice on that?
My system looks like this:
Intel Core2Duo 8200
2x Corsair XMS1024MB-800
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R
Raidcontroller: Highpoint RocketRaid 2300 (PCI-e 1x)
Nvidia Geforce 8400
Thanks for any support!
