Can't connect to my wirless network PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello! I'm a newbie at this... just installed Kubuntu 8.10. I've got Knetworkmanager. I've got my driver for my wireless device... but it will not connect. Here some info that may help anyone who can tell me what do to! Thanks in advance!

There's your wireless chip. I've never configured wireless on a Broadcom, but they're famous for needing a special tweak or two. Unless one of the good folks on this forum jumps in with the recipe, I'd recommend a search on the Ubuntu Forum for "broadcom bcm4318". You probably need to install some firmware or something like that.

For example, start at the LAST page of this post, and work your way forward and see if there's an applicable instruction.
