Hello All...
I have read SEVERAL posts in various forums which cover basically
the issue that i have been experiencing, however, there is a WEIRD
little glitch which befuddles me....
I have an nvidia geforce 6100 nforce 405 graphics card.
I tried both the 173. and the 177. versions and they both
actually work for me BUT when i set my resolution via
''sudo nvidia-settings'' and click ''save to config file'' i get
a parse error on line 34 of section module in xorg etc etc..... and is says:
''Disable is not a valid keyword in this section''
Here's the weird part.... I checked /etc/X11/xorg.conf and there is
NO ''Disable'' ANYWHERE in the entire file!!!!! So is there some
OTHER xorg.conf hiding somewhere that i haven't been told about
or what?
I could have posted a copy of xorg.conf but i figured it wouldn't
be necessary since the ''Disable'' doesn't exist within the file
it must be looking at a different file
Anyone else experience this?
Cheers!
Dave
