    YEAH BABY!!

    Okay, that got your attention. Well, just burned the LiveCD of II Alpha 3. I'm a subscriber on Launchpad Bugs of bug 83471. My Kingston 5GB pcmcia HD stopped being recognized beginning with Feisty Fawn. It is recognized and accessible in Intrepid Ibex!!! I'm so happy!!

    Way to go developers!! Please ensure that what ever you did to reenable this functionality is kept with the beta and final releases of II.

      I hope not! This was the single 'unresolved' issue I had with Kubuntu after Edgy Eft. If Intrepid Ibex 8.10 means I get to use this pcmcia HD again, I'm going to replace my Hardy Heron KDE 4.1.00 with II, even if it is still an Alpha.
