    I need help with evolution

I have Evolution installed but I need the exchange version of it. I download a .tar.bz2 file from the evolution web site "Evolution Exchange 2.26.3" but I cant seem to get it to install. Does anyone know if this is just an addition to Evolution or a complete full Evolution version? Or maybe I'm just not up to speed on how to install in Linux... Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Re: I need help with evolution

Kubuntu comes with inbuilt software install system.
If you have Kubuntu 9.04 then open Kpackagekit from KMenu
If you have earlier versions then open Adept Package Manager

    Install the package 'evolution-exchange'
the package will be downloaded and installed.

Else you goto konsole and execute following commands
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install evolution-exchange

Thanks, I did get it installed, i used the command line and the 'apt-get - install evolution exchange' I had everything set up except for my global contacts, couldn't seem to get those to work. Googled it and tried a lot of different attempts and finally got it working. Now the only issue I have is when I open up one of my contacts I cant view the notes fields. Is there an additional plug in or something that will enable me to see all of the contact informations? Thanks...
