Flash stopped working in Firefox but works in Opera/Konqueror

I'm running Kubuntu Hardy and recently upgraded Firefox to 3.0.10 and it stopped playing flash, yet Opera and Konqueror play flash fine. When I start Firefox in a terminal and try to view something in flash it shows this

"Adobe Flash Player: GTK1.x environments not supported. Exiting now.Adobe Flash Player: GTK1.x environments not supported. Exiting now.onTimer() tick"

I'm running Hardy, but Firefox is only 3.0.9.

Flash always seems to be a problem with Firefox for some reason, but i'm having no problems (that i'm aware of....), but then - i have installed everything i could find.
