Hi,
I'm running Kubuntu Hardy 8.04. I installed Team Viewer 4.0 under Wine. When I try to remotely control the machine via a Windows XP machine, the connection lasts for less than a second and I get the following message on the XP machine:
"This connection was closed because your partner's desktop was currently not available. This is probably due to fast user switching or a disconnected Remote Desktop session or the screen was simply locked."
Has anyone run into this problem before? The machine is definitely available and the desktop is not locked so I wonder if fast user switching needs to be be disabled? If so, how is that done? Does Desktop Sharing need to be enabled? I tried that btw and got the same result. TeamViewer is setup wide open to accept remote connections. I have a direct connection to the Internet with no firewall enabled.
