Trying to get Pulse Audio working. Used Synaptic to download and install everything that came up under a Pulse Audio search.
Have "Device Chooser" icon in the system tray at the bottom of the screen.
I can bring up the "manager" and there is no server listed. Failure notice at the bottom specifies "invalid server".
Also, there are no "devices", "clients" or "modules" listed under those tabs.
So Pulse Audio is installed, but nothing works.
How do I specify a valid server for it??
What modules do I need and where do I get them?

The h/w is all plugged in, but neither krec or audacity seem to be able to get any sound to record.
