Dektop errors

I was messing with my theme's in KDE 3.5 after I set up some transparency and a new cursor, I logged off and logged back in. after that I only had 2 desktops (I used to have 4) and when I clicked on the desktop settings thing, and changed it back, it didn't change, and it says I only have one, but I have two... also when I right click on my desktop it doens't do anything... middle click too

have you checked you, your system settings under desktop you can change the # of virtual desktops you have and in your mouse settings you should be able to set it to work as it used to , but i must confess i am not so sure about your mouse being fixed from system settings (long time no kde3)
