Does anyone have knowledge of how to move data files and setup of kmymoney from the hd of one box to the hd of a new box? I suppose and hope it is just simply restoring the backup but I'm not sure if the setup of accounts will move over also. The moving of everything for thunderbird was simple copy and paste the .thunderbird file. Is there such a file for Kmymoney?

Do you have all of your account information stored in a file? I'm wondering if you would just copy the file to the new system that has kmymoney installed. At least that is what I did, but I have not gotten very in depth on anything other than a couple of accounts. -

Yes, I took a chance and copied the Kmymoney file that I saw in /home to a flash card and pasted it into my new /home and everything seems to have moved over just fine. Thanks
