UltraVNC from Win XP to Kbuntu Krfb server

I am running Kbuntu 8.04 which has the Krfb (KDE Remote Desktop Sharing) server running.

I have:-
- Allow Uninvited Connections (was already active in my case)
- Allow Uninvited Connections to control the Desktop (solved my problem)
- I have changed the port used to connect.

I am having trouble connecting to it. Trying to connect fails with, 'Error reading Protocol Version'. If I try the MSRC4Plugin-122 DSM Plugin, I get the password prompt but after entering the password I get, 'Error reading Protocol Version'.

Any suggestions please?
