Dumb newbie in a bind.

A friend of mine who is using Linux got all his windows games working. When I told another friend he said it was not possible....so.. here I am building my first Kubuntu Box!

Since it really is going to be a gaming system, I need to know how to.. (PLEASE remember im stupid!)

Install Quakewars Eneny Territory.
Doom 3
Half life
Return to castle wolfenstien
Enemy territory :wolfenstein (Sorta installed no sound)
Neverwinter nights
Battlefield 1942 and add-ons..

I may be dumb but I bet the second guy I could do it and show him how too.. (I can print out instructions REAL good! )

Can someone help? Is there a how-to on each of these games to make even a dummy understand the install?

Quake Wars, Doom and most of the "ID Software" games have a Linux version, or, you could install WINE and install the Windows version of the game.
