    printing

    Hi,

Not sure when this started happening but I can't printer from my printer anymore. I am running Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 on AMD 64. I have done a couple of upgrades recently but cannot be sure they were responsible. Here is the error I am getting:
printer Deskjet_F4100_series is idle. enabled since Thu Jan 29 09:26:10 2009
Unable to open device "hal:///org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/usb_device_3f0_7e04_CN7BA5V22Z04TJ_if1_printer_CN7 BA5V22Z04TJ": Permission denied

I've checked permissions and all is okay there. Version of hal installed 0.5.11~rc2-1ubuntu8.2 cups version 1.3.7-1ubuntu3.3.
    Anyone else see this?

    Thanks
