Hi all, I've searched for this and found no help.
I've used Freenx for a while to connect to my desktop machine from the laptop, it is brilliant for most things I want to do. If I want to play music on the desktop machine (which is connected to the 5.1 speakers) I still have to use VNC which is pretty laggy.
Is there a way to set up the server to route sound to its own speakers?
Both machines run Kubuntu Hardy and are uptodate. Thanks.
Edit: Alternatively I guess if there is a way to get freenx join a locally logged in session (like vnc) that might also help?
