Alt-F2 has no effect on my system. Assuming this is short cut to run command. I carried out the recommended sequence there. Still unable to change myself to owner/group! What next?

open KONSOLE first or from the k-menu use "Run Command" and type it in there
for konsole

sudo konqueror

in run box

kdesudo konqueror

if you do this via konsole, leave the konsole window open till your done using konqueror then you can close it.

Have tried this but am unable to change myself to owner. fixed at "root" so unable to write to it. Sudo konqueror ultimately leads to a file /media ? i can get to my device and right click - properties/permission it but can't change the owner!! What am I doing wrong?
