How to choose different fonts in Quanta plus

I'm trying to use Quanta plus to design a simple web site but I can't find an option for fonts. The screen shots on the Quanta site shows a font tab next to the style tab, but my install doesn't have that. Any insight would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If you mean the 'Fonts' tab on the DTD bar, next to the 'Standard' tab, no, i haven't got one of those either.

It is possibly a home-made toolbar, but i must admit, i tend to only use one font on a page, and use the <h2>, <h3>, <h4>, or <h5> headings to change fontsize.

It would probably be worth your while to email Eric to ask.

Having just gone to http://quanta.sourceforge.net/ from the address you posted, that is a different version altogether....

Just checked, i'm using Quanta 3.5.10, the version there shows versions 3.3.2/3

The download available is Quanta 3.5.8, datedNovember 9, 2007

That must be a screenshot from the next release.

        Buggered if i know.

        Now i am confused.

Eric is available to ask questions of on the mailing list: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/quanta

        Edited to add:
And looking at it again - more carefully - that is a .php document being displayed, i assume that fonts are handled differently in .php documents than in .html.... but i wouldn't know about that, only being guilty of mutilating constructing .html web-pages..

You are very observant. This is the kind of tag I'm trying to get with out having to write it. <font face="Lucida Handwriting" size="+6" color="Blue">thanks for your effort</font>

I find that there several commands which i use frequently but aren't supported in Quanta, i have found that the simplest thing to do is to type them into Knotes, and name them accordingly, then open that particular note when it is needed.

For example, in some documents i make frequent use of <blockquote></blockquote> i have a Knote saved with this name and it is a simple matter to <select> the text, and drag-and-drop it wherever i need it in Quanta.

That's a good idea I suppose the other option is to start using css. hey, it's just one more thing to learn, right

CSS is an easy way to control the text, Quanta has a CSS editor, but i don't think that it shows previews, which are very handy indeed.

There are some excellent tutorials, Dave Raggett has a series of them, if you go here: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Guide/ they are linked to from that page.

                Edited to add:
Kate is a very handy HTML and CSS editor, and it works in with Quanta, i.e. if you set shortcuts in Quanta, they also work in Kate.
