Kpersonalize

Way back when I made that topic. Kubuntu used to have a setup wizard called Kpersonalize. I figured out how to get it (use the "kpersonalizer" command, but on newer Kubuntu's the command doesn't work. In 8.04 I know it doesn't. I don't think I ever used 7.10 (maybe as a live CD). The last time it worked was in 6.10 (the good old days!)

Have you installed kpersonalizer from the repository?

No, I never had to before. I thought it was part of KDE. But I guess it's an external package now...

here is a link to the debian package for download if anyone wants or needs it.

I remember it used to come up for the first time after installed KDE via the method here. Since then I figured out how to make KDE use double clicks instead of single clicks...
