      Re: Trying to start ProjectCenter

Way to go! And don't forget to get rid of ProjectCenter.app:

      sudo apt-get remove --purge projectcenter.app

      followed by

      sudo apt-get autoremove

      before installing kdevelop

      sudo apt-get install kdevelop

(have just installed it myself, it has ruby, maybe it is even supports python )

Now that is more like it!

removed the dross as you suggested, installed kdevelop with no bother, Kmenu updated and ide runs a treat.

now for the fun of learning to use it

Thanks for all your help toad
