    Wallpaper Won't Change

    Hi there guys.

Just a slightly annoying problem more than anything.

My wallpaper is stuck and I cant change it. Even though on the KDesktop screen it says it should be displaying a different one.

I had this problem before with openSuse 11.0 with KDE and I think it had something to do with a corrupted config file. But I cant remember which one. Although I do remember that when I deleted it so that KDE would generate a new one it put my menu layout and colours back to their boring default.

    So any ideas?

    Take a look at /etc/kde3/kdm/backgroundrc

      Sorry for the late reply.

I had a look in the /etc/kde3/kdm/ directory but there was no backgroundrc file.

      Could this be the problem?

And is there anyway to generate this file?

I have absolutely no idea as to how to fix this problem. I know its not a critical problem but I'm stuck with a blue screen which boring me.
