Help! got a problem with the package....

Hi everybody, i am new to kubuntu, and i have a problem, i wanted to install the KUBUNTU-RESTRICTED-EXTRAS package, and after a few minutes as adept wanted to install it, nothing happened, so i clicked on "view details" button, because i thought may be i had to click on "i agree" or something, but the window with the details isn't working properbly, so the update manager doesn't work anymore because it can't continue. What can i do to update the extras package and to fix the adept errror problem

To fix Adept errors:
Open a console and type:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

should fix it, else continue with

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install

[goinglinux]

thanks, maybe I should use the synaptic manager instead of adept.....
