    MIDI support (solved)

This isn't really a big deal, but I'd still like to see it work.

I've noticed that MIDI files will not play on Kubuntu. Now, I think there's a MIDI mapper somewhere (I think it's on wine, but I'm not quite sure). If it is, how exactly should I configure it?

And if this won't work, what can I do to get MIDI support? (I think I simply need a mapper.)

And btw, KMixer shows an HDA Intel as my sound device.

    Re: MIDI support

I went with Timidity. NONE of my Linux media players would play MIDIs, but Winamp (ran with wine) will play them. Looks like this one is solved...Vista use -1.
