Might sound stupid and a very noobish thing to do, however when seeing k3b had an update i tired to update it however it kept failing. so i decided to remove k3b and then reinstall it. this message occurs now:
craig@penguin1:~$ sudo apt-get install k3b

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
k3b: Depends: k3b-data (= 1.0.5-1ubuntu4~hardy1) but it is not installable
E: Broken packages
would anbody have an idea where i can hunt down a solution to this?
