Hello everybody

I have recently installed Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron in my Vaio and in http://www.linuxcommand.org/wss0020.php they're talking about a .bash_profile in the home direcory. But I don't have such a file. is that normal?

*ubuntus use .profile instead of .bash_profile these days.
(bash reads .profile if bash specific startup files do not exist)

So if you're instructed to put something in .bash_profile, you can put that in .profile instead
