If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
Well I changed from automatic log-in to manual and there is no choice for session. I tried sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm, changed to gnome and it still boots into KDE 4.1. tried the command again and it just went back to the cursor. Whew, should not be that hard to get back to gnome. Thought about going into adept and deselecting and removing KDE but who knows what that might produce. A black hole porbably.... >
