multiple desktop wallpaper

Hi !
I've red many topic about this, but no one with the things I need or that let me understand what I can do.

So,
Kubuntu hardy heron 8.04
Compiz 7.6

with kwin I've 4 desktop with 4 different wallpaper and it's ok
when I activate compiz I've :

Wallpaper plugin not activate
general option-->desktop size---> horizontal virtual size set 4 (to have cube work) vertical set 1, anc number of desktop set to 1 but is impossible increase this number the slide bar don't work.

So
I try leaving this setting and activating wallpaper plug in..
I had insert 4 image but nothing change.

Any ideas about how to set 4 different wallpaper using compiz ??

I'm not a linux exepert, so please if you can tell me in a easy way how to solve this problem I appreciate.

Daniele, you have to play around......with the Settings, to get what you want.

First, 'right-click' on....the 'Desktop' icon (bottom Right).
You'll see that a 'pop-up window' appears.
Select "Configure Desktops".
This will take you to the application....where you CAN set the number of 'Desktops'...you want. (Or not.)

With those wallpapers, try the "Slideshow" option.
You can use the "Get more Wallpapers" (naturally)...to get more Wallpapers.
Click on one...it will load the one you selected. (For you to have a look at. The 'Image' is not all that big.)
At the bottom-right, of same page, you will get the option...."Install". (Install if you like what you have chosen.)

Now, use the "Setup" (for the Slideshow).

I use '1440 mins'. This is 24 Hours.
I selected 7 'images'....one for each day. (you can change them.... at any time, if you get bored with them.)
ADD each, in turn....to make a List (for yourself).
You can also use the "Advance Options"....to make the "Slideshow" use this set-up. (If you re doing it, you'll see what I mean.)

Click on "Apply". (and, you're done.)
Oh yeah, this "Slideshow" does work....for all 'Desktops'.
