    Skype mood poster

I wonder if someone is using this stuff "Amarok Skype mood poster 1.0.0"?

I am a huge fan of skype mood poster, because I did use skyamp last few years and now I need one for linux. But this one did not work. I installed script using amarok, allowed program to use skype, but configuration did not work when I've tryed it. Do I need to downgrade Amarok or skype? Or what I need to do, to make it work.

    Kubuntu Hardy 8.04.1 KDE
    Amarok 1.4.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
    Skype 2.0

    thanks a lot

Do you also have the following installed?

    python
    python-xlib
    python-qt

Those seem to be requirements, according to what I read.

Yep, python-qt3 would probably be the one since you're running the kde3 version of amarok.

I don't use the Moodbar myself, but do you have GStreamer installed?

              * Latest release: moodbar-0.1.2.tar.gz -- this is the moodbar source package, which contains the moodbar program (which generates .mood files from music files), and a GStreamer plugin that does the work. The moodbar package needs GStreamer 0.10.* installed, plus the 0.10.* version of various plugins. Be sure to install the moodbar package into the same prefix as GStreamer -- follow the instructions in the INSTALL file.

              http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Moodbar#Source_Downloads
moodbar is also available via Adept, which will pull gstreamer in if you request an install... probably a much simpler way.

              Kubuntu packages

A package for moodbar is available in the official package repository, just ensure the universe section is activated (which should be default anyway). Just install the package 'moodbar' with your prefered package manager (Adept, Synaptic). You will likely also want to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, and gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad for format support.
              Good Luck.
