Image upload problem

I am trying to upload an image to my Gmail account(image to an email), and it would stay stuck as if it were uploading but it would just stay there, I would figure it might be FireFox, I tried using Konqueror and I still have this problem.
Also, I get the same problem trying to upload images to my photobucket account, I cannot upload images at all.

For those of you with a short attention span as me and do no want to read the above details, read this below:

Email >> New Message > Upload Image ...... Fail !

Photobucket >> Upload image ..... Fail!

Try using Firefox............ Failed!
Try using Konqueror....... Failed!

Is there anything else that can be done. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Long shot but maybe check the permissions on the file

ummm.... How do I do that exactly? and how do I change it? and what do I change it to?

right click on it and go to properties.

choose the tab permissions

make sure you are the owner and that you can read and write

Nope, that was not it.
I still cannot upload images...

i have the same problem in any forum
