Kmail won't send folders, only files

Hello
Does anyone know if kmail can send folders? i'm trying to send a folder with some photos to a friend, it will allow me to select individual files but not the folder, can anyone shed any light on this?

Doubt it. Doubt that any mail program can. A folder isn't a file. If you want to send multiple files, but size is a consideration, then compress the selected files into an archive (zip, arc, ...) that your recipient can uncompress.
