    Where is QGIS?

    Hello
I'm sure i remember QGIS being in the package manager, but in Hardy i can't find it, i have the Universe repository enabled but no joy, was wondering if there was a quicker way of installing rather than having to install it from build.
    thanks

You're welcome. Glad to have been able to assist. And, welcome to the Kubuntu Forums!

Have you shutdown/rebooted since installing the application? Some programs require you do that before they appear in the K Menu. No guarantee that this will be the case with this application.

If it doesn't appear after a reboot, you can add it manually.
