how to lock sites that contained a special word with hosts file or ....

I know how to block a single site and not sites that contained a special word !!!!!!!!!

AFAIK it can't be done with /etc/hosts (as it does not support 'wildcards')

Depending on what you're trying to do, your best bet might be to setup your own dns server...alternatively you could check if your browser's blocking capacity is enough for your needs
