[SOLVED] How to install Flashplayer Firefox 3 on AMD 64

Hello,

I am new to Kubuntu using it about 2-3 weeks.
I couldnt install Flashplayer to firefox 3.
Tar.gz file on adobe site seems for 32 bit.

I searched the forum but I couldnt find a topic that explaines how.

Can anyone help me to find a topic or install instructions.

I run the 32 bit version of Kubuntu, but there should be a plugin in the repositories.

Check in Adept Manager for the kubuntu-restricted-extras (a whole set of plugins such as mp3 playback) or a "loose" plugin.

You need to install the
icedtea-gcjwebplugin

and

icedtea-java7-jre

They work great for me in HH 64 bit.

I foud these files in my repositories.

I installed them restarted Firefox but noting changed.

What i am doing wrong??

You also need to install flashplugin-nonfree

I must be asleep, I thought you were asking about java. But you were asking about flash. Well, you needed java anyway.
