dmraid running but can't create folders unless root

I managed to get two mirrored 250gig drives partitioned and formatted ext2 and mounted using defaults in fstab.

Problem is that when I access the mounted drive I can't do anything unless I'm root.

    /mnt/Raid User=root Group=Raid

/dev/mapper/isw_cfexxxxxxxData_Disk1 is set to a disk group

Manual mounts with -O ...group=Raid still have no effect on the permissions.

The dmraid is with the Intel driver detecting the drives.

I'm really at a loss here. Any ideas?

All I get is access denied when creating folders or files in the mounted raid drive
